What is it?

A few years ago the name “Metabolife” was associated with a much different product. Made with ephedra, a dangerous ingredient known to be similar to methamphetamine, the Metabolife brand has since been overhauled and bought over by a new company entirely.

The new Metabolife brand markets a whole different set of products that are ephedra free and are claimed to help people lose weight with diet and exercise. There are different Metabolife products available, but today we will be focusing on Metabolife Ultra. So does this product really work?  We decided to find out.

What is Jacked Up?

Despite an FDA ban going back to 2004, Jacked Up markets itself as a product with ephedra in it. It’s with this, along with other stimulants, that users are claimed to have their metabolism and energy levels raised, making weight loss inevitable.

But is it really a good idea to combine so many stimulants at once? One of which, by the way, isn’t supposed to even be available for use in the United States? Does that make this product potentially dangerous? We decided to find out.

What is Glucomannan?

Coming from the root of the konjac plant, also known as the elephant yam, glucomannan is a water soluble dietary fiber that is used in weight loss pills. Glucomannan compromises 40% of the dry weight of the konjac plant and has long been used in foods as well as herbal mixtures.

What is Force Factor?

Have you ever wanted more energy when you work out, but found yourself yawning? Force Factor claims that it can help fix this problem. Working by delivering nitric oxide and nutrients to the body in an optimal manner, Force Factor claims it can help it’s users push themselves past their known limits.

What is Detonate XT?

Replacing the original Detonate that was found to have undisclosed amphetamines within it, Detonate XT continues the name brand of product, claiming that it is a thermogenic amplifier. Filled with stimulants, Detonate XT wants it’s buyers to believe that it can have it’s users losing weight before they realize it.

What is Cholestoff?

With the obesity epidemic reaching ever farther across the United States, weight loss has become a hot topic, with the diet supplement market getting ever more popular. In relation to this is Cholestoff, which claims that it can help it’s users keep their cholesterol levels at a lower and keep them overall healthier.

What is it SlimSmart?

Not to be confused with the South African weight loss machine, SlimSmart the diet pill is a bit harder to find than most diet pills. SlimSmart seems to market itself to an older crowd of people, as in it’s description it mentions how it’s users can “age gracefully with a more youthful look”.

What is Slim Forte?

Right off the bat there may be confusion about what this product really is, as there are multiple websites that claim to be the “official” or “original” Slim Forte product, with one link possibly leading to viruses. Slim Forte claims that it can have users lose 35 pounds or more in 12 weeks. It does this by claiming to burn fat, boost the metabolism and suppress appetite.

What is it Refirm Full Body Burn?

Coming in an incredibly plain box with text written in all capitalized letters, Refirm Full Body Burn claims that it can help it’s users reduce their body fat while at the same time increasing their energy levels and metabolic rate. Refirm also claims to act as an appetite suppressant.

What is it Razor 8?

With pictures of incredibly muscular men on their website, Razor 8 markets itself to the fitness crowd, claiming that help it’s users get in the best shape of their lives. Claiming to raise energy levels and alertness, Razor 8 boasts itself to be exactly the product that bodybuilders are looking for.
