Lean 1 Review – Shocking Truth About Lean 1

What is Lean 1?

Lean 1 is a meal replacement shake that’s made to help suppress appetite and provide a good source of nutrition. Included inside this meal replacement are not only nutrients and 20 grams of protein, but also fat reducing ingredients. Added to the mix are 17 fruits and vegetables alongside 27 vitamins and minerals.

It also has antioxidants and even additives meant to improve digestion. An interesting and unique detail about this meal replacement is that it contains things like green coffee bean extract and hoodia Gordonii, which are intended to provide fat burning effects. This review will go over the quality of its ingredients and whether or not it can support weight loss. In researching many meal replacements, our experts found that the most well rounded solution is 18Shake. It’s an all-natural, appetite suppressing, stimulant free meal replacement shake. You can discover more information about 18Shake when you click on the link provided here.

Who makes it?

The manufacturers behind this California brand is Nutrition 53.

Founded by the football player Bill Romanowski, the supplements are available online and in some retail stores.

How (and) does it work?

Different options are offered for when this product should be taken. It can be taken before, after or even as a full replacement meal.

It also claims it can burn fat by up to 108%, this exact number is not explained any further detail.

With the fat burning ingredients, appetite suppressing milk protein and 7 grams of fiber, it’s meant to help suppress appetite. The fat burning is made possible via an increase of metabolism found in the stimulant green coffee bean. The caffeine found inside is not considered a very effective long term weight loss ingredient. No indication is offered as to how much caffeine is added.

Customers do mention the taste is pleasurable, however no money back guarantee is offered. No clinical trials are cited to show how this will reduce body fat. The top 10 ranked meal replacements are offered in the link provided here.

What’s inside of it and are there side effects?

There’s caffeine inside this brand which is not common for a meal replacement shake. This can potentially lead to side effects, especially since it’s added in unknown amounts.

  • Corn Syrup Solids: A virtually moisture free sweetener featuring a pure form of glucose.
  • Sucralose: Calorie free sweetener that offers a more sweet taste for a cheaper price.
  • Artificial Flavors: Synthetic ingredients mixed in to simulate the taste of other products.
  • Green Coffee Bean Extract: Unroasted or immature coffee beans added for its stimulant effects.
  • Hoodia Gordonii: African cactus added in order to prevent hunger.

Potential Side Effects: Headaches, irritability, vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps, bloating, mood swings, elevated blood pressure, difficulty swallowing, and increased paranoia.

What’s good about it?

Lean 1 has 20 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber. Some of the protein is whey which is considered the most favorable form of protein. Also included to the mix is one form of a non GMO sweetener. Customers also often mention that it has a favorable taste.

What’s bad about it?

One major thing lacking that prevent it from being a great meal replacement is due to its added caffeine in unknown amounts.

The manufacturers do not list their own ingredient facts and instead just offer a nutritional outline. These two issues prevent customers from knowing what to expect. In dosing with caffeine and unknown ingredients, it’s impossible to determine the overall quality.

Another issue is the addition of artificial flavors, sucralose, and GMO soy. These additives are unnecessary and potentially dangerous. A list of the top 10 ranked meal replacements can be seen via this link.

Wrap Up

The product offers a new twist on meal replacement products as it contains caffeine in the form of coffee beans. What is also unique is how the product contains a GMO free ingredient in their cane syrup. However, the overall quality is lacking due to the added GMO soy and artificial sweeteners.

The amount of caffeine is also not listed which adds to the mystery surrounding this product. It would have been great as well if they included the full ingredients instead of letting third party distributors post the ingredients. Overall, there’s decent aspects to Lean 1, but its quality is reduced overall by the addition of many unfavorable and unnecessary additives.  The comprehensive top 10 list features the highest rated meal replacements.

Bottom Line:

Lean 1 has a lot to offer through its unique mixture of ingredients not often seen in a meal replacement. It does fail to provide enough wholesome ingredients, and there’s untold levels of caffeine which may promote side effects. There’s GMO soy, artificial sweeteners, and a potential for side effects.

Our experts have rated many different meal replacements, and the highest rated one in terms of overall usefulness is 18Shake. It combines a duo protein formula, potent appetite suppressing fiber, well-rounded nutrients to help replace a full meal, and it’s all natural. There’s no added stimulants, fillers, cheap additives, or GMO soy added. Customers also mention it has a great taste, mixes well, and helps reduce appetite for hours. 18Shake is also supported by a full 30 day money back return policy with no questions asked. 10 thoughts on “Lean 1 Review – Shocking Truth About Lean 1

  1. Sandie says:

I think it should be pointed out that the label claims ‘Lactose Free Protein’ but yet it in the ingredient list it states, ‘Whey protein Isolate’ as an ingredient – which will make individuals with milk intolerance sick. It feels like false advertisement to me. I didn’t read the the ingredient list before I got sick from using the product because of the Whey. Shame on me 50% for not reading it but shame on this company for not listing it up front, next to the claim of ‘Lactose Free Protein’.

  2. Niki says:

I’m starving after a hour of drinking the shake! The hunger blocker isn’t working!

  3. Lisa says:

I got this in vanilla. I really like the taste. I toss it right in my blender so it mixes smoothly. It does seem to curb my appetite but I can’t really tell because I’m not a big eater unfortunately, I have noticed since I’ve started taking it that it makes my heart race and I feel jittery. I drink coffee so I had absolutely no qualms about that green coffee bean extract but apparently is way more intense than a regular cup of coffee. Sadly, I won’t be able to continue taking this Lean1. I’m really bummed. It tastes good and seems to work but I can’t do the shakes and heart palpitations.

  4. Jay says:

Agree totally with Lisa, Niki, and Sandie – I’m lactose intolerant and it messes with me for sure, doesn’t surpress hunger, and makes me super gittery with heart palpitations. Tastes good. I’ve drank about seven shakes now and can’t take it any longer. It’s in the trash now.

  5. Lora Nickel says:

I used this last summer in addition to my workout routine as a post workout shake & a 1/2 shake between meals snack. I am NOT lactose intolerant. I do NOT drink any caffeine. This was a wonderful product! I lost a ton of weight and went from a size 14/15 to an 8/10. No ill side effects realized.

This was a great product and I will use it again this year as I try to get the “snow weight” off my butt.

  6. Jennifer says:

I’ve been using Lean 1 vanilla for about 3 months daily with no heart palpitations or jitters … I did give up all coffee and sodas when I started on my diet program that includes this … I have lost almost 30 lbs so combo of this product and a reasonable diet does work

  7. SM says:

I haven’t had any side effects from using Lean 1. I mix it with 12oz to two scoops. Half water half almond milk. It does help curb appetite if mixed with almond milk but like I said I use 6oz water and 6oz of almond milk. So far I’ve only had chocolate but would like more reviews if weight loss really occurred.

  8. Erin says:

Did it cause itchiness in anyone ?

  9. Amber says:

I enjoy lean1 very much. I combine it with the lean1 pills and I’ve lost 40lbs with moderate exercise and a high protein low carb diet.

  10. Hobson.Helen says:

It is hoped that you will have to work hard
