What is VPX Meltdown?

VPX Meltdown liked to market itself as a product that could help people lose weight, boost energy levels, enhance mood and activate thermogenesis. That was a lot of different promises to make, and at some point the manufacturers thought that there was something wrong with this product and decided to discontinue it’s use.

So what happened to VPX Meltdown, and what was wrong with it? Was it dangerous, or simply ineffective? We decided to look into what this product was and find out.

Who makes it?

VPX Meltdown is manufactured by VPX Sports, which is located in Florida. VPX Sports markets towards bodybuilders and people who are into fitness, and as such produces a variety of muscle building, workout, recovery, fat loss, energy and health supplements, as well as supplement stacks. VPX Meltdown can no longer be purchased on the official website, nor BodyBuilding.com, but is still available at other retailers such as Walgreens stores.

How (and) does it work?

VPX Meltdown contained many different complexes within it. The first was known as the Fat catabolizer and B3 potentiator. This helped raise energy levels and metabolism. Next was the super synephrine B-3 activator, really a fancy name for synephrine, which helped burn fat. Then came the I phoric potent Methyl B-PEA matrix, which helps keep the mind sharp, as well as burning fat. The Nor epiphex a2-andrenergic blockade complex was next, which was also a fat burner. Lastly is the Norepiphex M-MAOxidizor-I, which helped with digestion.

There are many positive reviews that can be found, yet when investigated into a little more, we found that many of these reviews have only reviewed this product and nothing else, which is highly suspicious. There are also reviews that claim negative side effects that made people stop taking this product.

What’s inside of it and are there side effects?

Included in VPX Meltdown were a variety of ingredients, some of which are known to be stimulants, others being used to boost metabolism and burn fat. The ingredients include a mix of natural and synthetic ingredients, which is unlike diet pills on the top 10 list, which are 100% natural. There are also two other ingredients listed, which were ‘3’5′ cAMP and lipolytic trigger, but we could not find any information on these.

Fat catabolizer and B3 potentiator:

Ingredient 1: Caffeine anhydrous

A crystallized form of caffeine that is used to help boost energy levels and metabolism.

Ingredient 2: Yerba mate

Native to South America, this is known to treat low blood pressure, fatigue and heart disorders such as irregular heartbeat.

Ingredient 3: Toothed clubmoss

Used to treat inflammation, fever, pain and memory problems.

Super synephrine B-3 activator:

Ingredient 4: Synephrine HCI

Also known as bitter orange, this is closely related ephedrine, although the fat burning properties of this are less potent.

I phoric potent methyl B-PEA matrix:

Ingredient 5: R beta methylphenylethylamine

Used to help the body burn fat.

Ingredient 6: N methylbega phenylethylamine

Helps keep mental cognition sharp.

Nor epiphex a2-andrenergic blockade complex:

Ingredient 7: Yohimbe bark

Native to Africa, this has been used to regulate blood pressure, treat fatigue enhance athletic performance, as well as weight loss.

Norepiphex M-MAOxidizor-I:

Ingredient 8: Barley

A good source of fiber that protects the intestines, as well as lowering cholesterol levels.

Adverse effects from use of this product include:

Jitteriness, headaches, constipation, stomach pains, hives, heartburn, mild chest pains, dehydration and insomnia.

What’s good about it?

This product contained yerba mate, which is known for the vitamins, nutrients and amino acids that can be found within it.

What’s bad about it?

Despite the claims on how it can help people burn fat, there were no scientific studies available to back any of this up. Sure some of the ingredients are known to help with weight loss, but that’s the individual ingredient, and not the product as a whole. This is a trick that many diet pill companies use to get people to buy their product.

Some of the reviews of VPX Meltdown were very positive, in fact as we saw it, too positive. Some of the reviewers have only a history of reviewing this one product, which puts the validity of these reviews into question.

But most of all, this product isn’t even available anymore on the company’s official website, nor is it available on other websites such as BodyBuilding.com. So even if you wanted to try it, you’re going to have a hard time finding it!

People who want to see more results from their workouts are always looking for the next best pill to get them there. With this product however, even the makers of it thought there was something wrong and decided to discontinue it.

Bottom Line:

There was no scientific evidence that could back up any of the claims that this product was effective in helping people reach their goals. In addition to this, there were side effects that people reported that may have turned some potential users away. These are important points to remember when looking into other diet pills. More effective diet pills are available that may be backed up by scientific evidence, as well as be free of side effects.
