Claiming to have helped people numbering in the hundreds, Releana splashes onto the diet pill scene, claiming that it can help it’s users lose weight in the most effective manner possible. All the user has to do, is buy this product and take it twice a day continuously to see results.
Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it? Wouldn’t it be great if that’s all it took to lose weight? But is this product really as effective as it claims? Or are it’s claims not founded in reality at all? We decided to look into this product, and see what is truth and what is fabricated fiction.
Releana is manufactured by Millennium Medical Spa LLC, a company that was founded in 1997. It’s CEO is Diedre Tuntland, who spent time in South Africa and witnessed how villagers in the area were losing weight. She decided to take it upon herself to make a similar product and brought it to the United States. This product is claimed to have been tested in the best facilities in southern California. Releana can be purchased online from retailers such as Amazon.com.
Releana works by burning what is calls “abnormal” fat and using it as fuel. The key ingredient that helps with this is called human chorionic gonadotrophin. Included with this product is also a strict regimented diet program to help keep the pounds off. To get results, users are instructed to take 2 sprays of this product, ideally 12 hours apart. The sprays are to be done under the tongue and to be held there for 3 minutes. This product comes in a powder form that is to be mixed with a liquid that is also included.
Despite it’s claims, not all users found the results they were looking for with this product.
The key ingredient included in Releana is human chorionic gonadotrophin, also known as HCG. HCG is a hormone that is produced during pregnancy and is believed to help with weight loss. Usually included with HCG related products is a strict diet plan. The inclusion of HCG is supposed to reset the metabolic rate, allowing for a suppressed appetite.
The legitimacy of these kinds of diets however is questionable, as consuming less calories will always result in weight loss. Dietary supplements on the top 10 list avoid this practice like the plague.
While Releana claims there are no side effects associated with it’s product, some users have reported trouble sleeping, headaches as well as flu like symptoms. In rarer cases Releana may cause ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome as well as multiple pregnancies. Releana may also cause early puberty if administered to prepubescent boys.
Coming with a prescription, this product is used while monitored by a physician. This is good because it prevents abuse and also keeps the user in line with how and when to use the product and diet plan.
When searching up this product, no official website comes up, which is strange considering the available reviews and information that can be found on this product. It is also only available with a prescription, so it’s not very available for just anyone to consume.
The price of this product is also something to consider, as there is some debate into how much it actually costs. If you don’t even know the price of the product, who is to say if you are buying something really expensive? A listed price is a basic selling point of any product, and being that this is not certain makes this product not seem very legitimate.
Included with this product is also a strict diet plan. While diet plans are essential to weight loss, Releana instructs that it’s users stay on a 500-800 calorie diet, which is very restrictive. Even if people lose weight from this product, it can’t be said for certain that it was from Releana or if it was from the diet plan.
Like many other products that are available, Releana claims that it can help it’s users lose weight. If this comes from the drops or the diet plan however is uncertain. You may not even need the drops to lose weight if you just stick to the diet plan.
While it is good that a doctor needs to prescribe this product, the effectiveness of this product cannot be proven, as the weight loss may just as well come from the extremely restrictive diet plan that comes along side this product. This product is better suited for people who are obese, and as such is not recommended for someone looking to just lose a few pounds. There are other dietary supplements available that may better help you if you fall into this category. As it stands, this product may sound good, but there are simply better products available that don’t require you to essentially starve yourself.
We recommend looking into other, more cost effective dietary supplements.
