Phytodren review: Is It Safe?

What is Phytodren?

Armed with a website that boasts of weight loss at a “Hardcore” rate and portraying an image of being formulated by science, this weight loss supplement has lofty claims. Much of the website focuses on giving a scientific viewpoint as to how and why their product works for effective slimming down.

There are several big claims that are said to be represented by facts, let’s look at what the unbiased details have to say about this product.

Who makes it?

yellow-and-red-pillsThe company behind this product is named Advantage Nutraceuticals, LLC. The FDA has sent a warning to the company for it being untruthful thru claiming that at least seven of their products are intended to cure and prevent diseases.  The FDA left behind several examples of clear manipulation by the company of the capabilities of their supplements.

How (and) does it work?

The intended use of this product is to control the rate of stress which leads to decreased hunger, also it is said to heighten metabolism and muscle expansion without an increased rate of fat.

Although it appears to be very legitimate science,  there is just a rough idea of how their ingredients listed can help in weight loss. In fact customers opinions are split on unbiased websites with many saying there was zero effect and the only positive reviews are from customers with only one review which is fairly suspicious.

What’s inside of it and are there side effects?

This product does contain chemicals in it that are not closely studies on the human body. To better serve yourself, you are capable of finding all natural options that aren’t chemically formed.

Ingredients:
  • Chromium (as Chromax Chromium Picolinate): A mineral that is needed for the human body to stay healthy.  It is meant to reduce the rate of hunger and improve the levels of blood sugar.  Taken as supplements they have been only shown to be effective for people with terrible diets and a lack of nutrients.
  • Irvingia Gabonensis (7% Albumins): Native to parts of Africa and used for its touted ability to reduce weight. There is no valuable evidence that supports this opinion.
  • Caffeine Anhydrous: Caffeine without water. Used in supplements as a metabolism booster. In certain people it can cause numerous side effects such as anxiety and rapid heart rate.
  • DiCaffeine Malate: A quickly digested version of caffeine for energy and aiding fat burning. It can cause an increase in blood pressure.
  • Green Coffee Bean Extract (50% Chlorogenic Acid): Unroasted generic coffee beans. Intended for weight loss and though studies have been done the trials are too early to give validation to it as a weight loss item.
  • Razberi-K (98%Raspberry Ketones): A chemical in raspberries that gives it smell and is said to reduce fat. No actual trials have been done on humans.
  • Phenylethylamine: Known for its ability to increase one’s mindstate thru enhancing happiness and mental clearness. It has been known to cause potential heart rate increase.
  • Panax Ginseng (20% Ginsenosides): Coming from a plant this ingredient can boost mental performance. Long term use has been shown to be detrimental as it can change hormone levels.
  • Poppy Seed Extract: Used to decrease negative cholesterol while increasing good cholesterol. As an extract there is very little information to support it as a positive ingredient.
  • ThermoDiamine (98% Diamine): Known in Asia as a fruit that can cure many things and used as a  way to increase bodily temperature. No studies show it to be either effective or even good for the body.

Potential Side Effects: Headaches, paranoia, fear, rapid increased heart rate, mood swings, hyperactivity, insomnia, chest pain, vomiting, diarrhea, improper blood clotting, and anxiety.

What’s good about it?

There is a 90 day money back guarantee.

What’s bad about it?

pills-06The website is clogged with various tellings of the science behind their product, but the science tells a completely different story. There is literally only thought to be opinions of some of these ingredients effectiveness but no real results.

There are several stimulants and caffeine additives inside these pills and no indication of the strength or the amount of caffeine in each dose. This can be severely detrimental to even healthy people as the amount can lead to serious side effects and true panic.

One another big issue is that customer opinion does not support what this product claims to do. Instead there are many customers only claiming to experience negative side effects and in some cases even weight gain.

Also at the price listed of $70 for a month’s supply it is highly expensive considering you won’t know how potentially harsh these ingredients are on your body til you try them.

Wrap Up

Though their website is catchy and appealing to look at, the claims stated just aren’t backed up by any science or even customer support. The rate of caffeine and stimulants inside can be very uncomfortable to deal with. Also at such a high price point and no real evidence to help determine its safety it can become a serious risk to put your trust in this.

Bottom Line:

With safer all natural supplements on the market that are cheaper and more effective it would be unwise to sample this brand. In front of you is the opportunity to try real weight loss supplements created to serve your demands.

Why invest in something if you can’t trust the science. Reach out and find other products that can help you reach your weight loss goals.
