This revised formula weight loss product that used to include ephedra is said to be revamped and even better than the past ingredients. It’s meant to be taken before meals and proper spacing between doses is recommended for safety.

Twinlab has created this brand with business stemming back to 1968. They have since sold their operations to a company entitled IdeaSphere. IdeaSphere now owns Metabolife as well which racked up hundreds of lawsuits due to their Ephedra containing products. Attention needs to be payed on why a company would purchase a business with a tradition of severely hampering customers health.

How (and) does it work?

Featuring various stimulants that are said to give energy and ramp up metabolism. There’s not much explanation beyond that offered by the manufacturers. The product does claim to be clinically tested yet no evidence is provided.

What is known however is that this product relies on many stimulants in order for it to do it’s job. While they do have an effect on the body they can be purchased cheaper in their natural state elsewhere.

Many customers mention that they experienced no results and that the old formula containing the now banned Ephedra was superior.

• Bilberry Extract(fruit): It’s fruit is used as medicine to aid proper blood flow as well as other ailments.
• BioVin Red Wine Extract(fruit standardized for resveratrol): A patented blend of red wine extract high in antioxidants such as resveratrol.

Potential Side Effects: Tremors, hyperactivity, dehydration, fatigue, insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, mood swings, diarrhea and complications with other medications.

What’s good about it?

Made in a GMP certified facility for proper testing of quality.

What’s bad about it?

There’s a high price, no cited clinical trials, caffeine and a lack of customer support.

A 10 day supply will be $18.32 meaning for $54.96 you get a months supply. They do not offer any discounts if bought in bulk so customers are left with this price. This is troubling as most of the ingredients can either be bought cheap, or they have little to no evidence backing up support.

This formula claims to have clinically tested ingredients yet they offer zero proof. Also is is unknown if they tested their whole formula on people as no customer testimonials are offered.

Looking at the results it’s clear why they offered no testimonials. Many of the customers have mentioned they felt gypped and experienced no changes. Some people have praised past batches containing the now banned drug Ephedra. Considering this company used to feature this brand but now proudly states they are Ephedra free is strange.
