Alphadrox is a male workout supplement that has application for increasing sexual performance as well. It claims to be a testosterone booster, energy booster, and circulatory aid that is useful as an overall male enhancement product.
Their advertising claims that it is useful for men that are attempting to build more muscle while also cutting weight, as well as for men with low T or those that are trying to slow or reverse the effects of andropause. Testosterone is a key to the male sexual response function overall, as it plays a role in their sex drive, erectile performance, and a variety of other systems that contribute to their overall ability levels.
The supplement that our team has found to have the most application for male enhancement purposes is a daily nutritional aid called Viritenz. It is a potent testosterone booster that also has a variety of ways that it can improve circulatory function – plus it includes a variety of non-hormonal libido boosters as well. For more information about the different types of issues that Viritenz can be helpful for, just follow this link.
There are only four ingredients used in Alphadrox’s proprietary blend, which is quite short when compared with most other brands in this category. Despite this small number of ingredients, they do not choose to use particularly large amounts of any of these ingredients, and as such the overall potency of Alphadrox is relatively limited. The ingredients that they list are as follows:
L-Arginine-Alpha-Ketoglutarate: An amino acid that can act as both a circulatory booster and a testosterone support aid. It is one of the more effective ingredients for male enhancement purposes according to our panel of nutrition and men’s health experts.
L-Citrulline Malate: Another amino acid, and one that acts as a precursor to L-Arginine. Its effects will tend to be similar as the previously mentioned ingredient, though it is usually thought of as somewhat slightly less potent.
Caffeine Anhydrous: The common stimulant that can be found in coffee, energy drinks, and a wide variety of other forms. It is a good temporary energy booster, however it is not thought of as an effective long-term solution for male enhancement.
L-Norvaline: Yet another amino acid. L-Norvaline is far less useful in regards to the main actions associated with male enhancement than the other two previously mentioned aminos, and though it is less likely to benefit men’s sexual and athletic performance it is unlikely to have any negative effects on men’s body’s.
The short ingredients list of Alphadrox perhaps predictably has a shorter list of potential benefits than more well-rounded male enhancement products. It is capable of providing both testosterone function and circulatory support, however it does not have multiple ways to address these issues, as most top-rated supplements in this category do.
Using both L-Arginine and L-Citrulline provides a redundant effect, as L-Citrulline converts to L-Arginine eventually. There are no ingredients in Alphadrox that can provide benefits like improved testosterone uptake, which is a common feature of more complete supplements.
Caffeine can help increase heart rate, which can in turn have some pro-erectile effects, however its benefits are relatively short lived and can potentially lead to side effects as well. Our team of experts do not tend to recommend caffeine, or products that use it, to readers that are looking for male enhancement.
Alphadrox is sold through their own page, through Amazon.com, and through a series of affiliate websites that claim to offer a free trial offer of the product. For reasons that are not explained, Alphadrox is more expensive when it is purchased through their own website than when purchased through Amazon. The prices listed on the major-name independent distributor’s website are as follows:
When purchased individually, the price of Alphadrox is well above that of most other male enhancement supplements in this category. When purchased five at a time however it is relatively affordable.
The sites that claim to offer free trials of Alphadrox are somewhat more complicated than Amazon or their homepage. While those two sources offer consistent, well-publicized prices of the product on a per-unit basis, the affiliate sites for Alphadrox instead say that users can receive a sample of the supplement if they just pay $4.95 for its shipping and handling.
What is less obvious on these pages is the fact that signing up for the free trial offer also enrolls the user in a program that ships them a new bottle every 30 days, and charges them $95.13 for the service. This price is much higher than the prices on any other outlet, and given that these conditions are only visible when clicking on the Terms link on the bottom of the page, there are many past members of this system that felt like they were intentionally misled by the manufacturers of Alphadrox.
Alphadrox does not list a parent company or any affiliates or subsidiaries on their website. They say that Alphadrox is the full name of the organization, and they list the following contact details for themselves:
Phone Number: (877) 260-1217
Address: P.O. Box 29201
Phoenix, AZ 85038
Email: [email protected]
There is a Better Business Bureau page for Alphadrox, however our team was impressed by their ratings for the company. They gave Alphadrox a “B” grade overall, which is somewhat below our team’s standards, however they have also received 100% negative feedback from their customers, which our team views as unacceptable.
A large number of these complaints are directly related to the “Free Trial Offer” that many people signed up for without realizing the extent of the required financial commitment. There are also reports of difficulty with the Alphadrox customer service representatives, particularly in getting them to honor their stated satisfaction guarantee.
There are relatively few objective reviews for Alphadrox that are available given their comparative lack of third party distribution. The comments that our team was able to find in independent blogs and forums were not particularly complimentary about the product. This includes the following accounts from past users about their experiences with Alphadrox:
“Didn’t see any benefits to my workouts. Didn’t see any benefits to my libido. Didn’t see any benefits at all – and yet they’re still charging me.”
“I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m about three weeks in to my one month supply, and I haven’t noticed any changes, so I don’t know. Doesn’t seem like it works.”
“Made me feel sick to my stomach every time I tried it, but I never saw any results. I think I got scammed – try it at your own risk.”
The majority of the complaints that our team read for Alphadrox were regarding either their business model or the general ineffectiveness of the product. Complaints about side effects were rarer, and tended to be related to gastro-intestinal issues when they were brought up. Overall, the quality of the reviews was below the standards that our research team is looking for from products that they recommend.
Conclusion – Does Alphadrox Work?
Alphadrox only uses four ingredients in their blend, and of those four only one is actually considered to be maximally effective for male enhancement supplement purposes. L-Arginine is one of the most effective male enhancement ingredients in the world, and L-Citrulline is a useful, though redundant, compliment to it.
Our team does not recommend caffeine as an ingredient in male enhancement supplements for both safety and overall effectiveness reasons. This leaves very reason to consider Alphadrox as an option, even before issues like price and manufacturer’s reputation are taken in to account.
The supplement that has the best overall reputation with professionals that we have spoken to within the health and wellness industry is Viritenz. Experts have complimented its ingredients blend for both its potency and its diversity.
It is thought to be useful for a wide variety of men and for a selection of different issues. Follow this link to find out more about what Viritenz may be able to do for you and your sexual ability levels.
