What is Adipessum?

Just searching up this product in the first place may confuse people, as Adipessum claims to be a product from China that strangely enough has a Facebook page that’s all in Spanish. The product claims that it is all natural and that it is an aid in eliminating appetite, roasting fat off the body and heightening energy levels.

There is not much else that is known about this product past this basic description. The product seems to rely on the fact that it has some roots in China as it’s main selling point. So is Adipessum the real deal, or is it something similar to a hoax? In the following article we break it down.

Who makes it?

There is no mention as to who the creator of Adipessum is. When companies withhold their identities from their consumers, it’s not a good sign, as it may mean that they have things to hide. Additionally there is no official website for this product as well. Adipessum may only be purchased from third party retailers, but not the mainstream ones such as Amazon.com. Because of this, the very validity of this product comes into question.

How (and) does it work?

Adipessum declares that it may be used to suppress appetite, gives the user a burst of energy as well as annihilating superfluous fat. But past these statements, there is no real mention as to how the product goes about achieves this. All that is mentioned is to take one capsule before breakfast and to not take more than two a day.

• Cyamoposis gum: Also known as guar gum, this fibre may be dangerous if consumed without water, as it may expand in the throat and block air passages.
• Artichoke: Jam packed with B vitamins, this low calorie ingredient is also filled to the brim with antioxidants as well.
• Atractylodes rhizome: Traditionally used in China as medicine, this has been used as a remedy for diarrhea, abdominal distress, joint pain and bloating.
• Alfalfa: Ascertained to cut back on cholesterol levels, as well as remedy prostate and kidney disorders.
• Kola nut: Having it’s origins on the continent of Africa, this is known to react with the body as a stimulant.
• Astragalus root extract: Containing antioxidants that battle against the negative effects of free radicals, this is also believed to help support heart health.

This product completely lacks any sense of validity. There are no studies included in any of the descriptions of it that prove that this can in any way help with weight loss. What the product does instead, is hide behind words like “Chinese” to make it seem more adequate in weight loss than it really is, when the truth of the matter is that there is a complete void of proof on all fronts.

Any information pertaining to this product is mainly in Spanish, so if potential buyers aren’t familiar with the language, the invisible barrier will be enough to turn people away from this product.

This concoction is also not for everyone, as individuals who suffer from glaucoma, heart disorders, mental illness, hyperthyroidism and women who are nursing or pregnant are restricted against it’s use. In this sense the product is more than a little limiting on who may be able to use it.

Frankly, it’s products such as this that give a bad name to the diet pill world.
