Right off the bat there may be confusion about what this product really is, as there are multiple websites that claim to be the “official” or “original” Slim Forte product, with one link possibly leading to viruses. Slim Forte claims that it can have users lose 35 pounds or more in 12 weeks. It does this by claiming to burn fat, boost the metabolism and suppress appetite.

Already there are red flags with this product. With multiple websites claiming to be the real Slim Forte, one has to wonder, what are you getting into with this product? We decided to look into Slim Forte before you go ahead and buy a product that you don’t know much about.

Who makes it?

There are various websites that claim to be the actual makers of Slim Forte. However based on an FDA warning, we can conclude that the manufacturer of this product is LA Beauty Store. Not much is known about this company, other than that the text written on it’s website is sloppy at best. The company’s official Facebook page lists this company as being located in Pampanga, Philippines. Slim Forte may be bought on the company’s official website, as well as other websites that advertise themselves to be the true makers of Slim Forte. However we would recommend not buying this product from any of these sources.

How (and) does it work?

The company’s website is rather unclear about how this Slim Forte works, as there are many grammatical errors included throughout that make the over all message somewhat hard to decipher. From what we can muster, Slim Forte boosts metabolism by activating a B3 receptor. Yet at the same time the company’s website mentions that it ” re-ingestion of norepinephrine, namely, the adrenalin B3 receptor”…so does that mean it stops this receptor from activating then? We aren’t sure. Slim Forte is also said to suppress appetite.

While claiming that it is safe and effective, there are no independent reviews to verify these claims. In fact in 2024, the FDA made an announcement that people should stop using this product for the adverse effects it may cause.

What’s inside of it and are there side effects?

Despite there being multiple websites on Slim Forte, none of them mention anything about the ingredients included. Official-slimforte.com lists that there are 4 ingredients, which are garcinia cambogia, medical amylum, cassia seed and waterplantain, however there is no way of verifying if this these really are the ingredients.

Despite all the different websites claiming that this product is safe and free of side effects, the FDA disagrees with this. In 2024 the FDA found sibutramine hidden inside of Slim Forte and soon after sent an announcement out for people to stay away from Slim Forte because of this.

Side effects from sibutramine may include: Upset stomach, nausea, increased appetite, constipation, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, drastic mood changes, cardiac arrhythmias, jaundice, abdominal bruising, fever, chest pain, seizures, edema, abnormal vision and dyspea.

There are multiple website that claim to be Slim Forte. All have the same picture and claim that they are real. One of these sites even lead to potential viruses. This all comes off as extremely shady, it’s as if this product is nothing but a scam. And that’s not all it may be. Even the original producers of Slim Forte, LA Beauty Store, fill their product descriptions with grammatical errors. This makes it hard to trust anything this product has to say.

In 2024 the FDA announced that people should stop taking this product because there is an unnamed ingredient in the product, sibutramine. Sibutramine has been known to raise blood pressure and heart rate in it’s users, making it very dangerous for people with pre-existing conditions, such as congestive heart failure, stroke, coronary artery disease and arrhythmias.

With fake versions of it available as well as a potentially dangerous real version, there’s really nothing to like about this product.
