Phentaslim Review: Does This Product Really Work?

What is Phentaslim?

Meant to be a solution to weight loss for everyone(according to their frontpage website) without worry over side effects.  They offer all natural ingredients inside their bright red capsules intended to be taken 3 times daily.

Their product is reported to be clinically tested and they claim over 22,000 customers have tried this product with positive results. They offer worldwide shipping and do mention diet and exercise are needed for results.

With all these promises it becomes important to find out, what can it do?

Who makes it?

Optimum Nutra Inc is located in Panama and their 2 brands Phentaslim and Superfruit Slim are both intended to reduce fat.

Their website has a brief mention on two separate details. First that their products are made in GMP certified facilities. Secondly that if their name comes up on a bank statement that one of their 2 brands was purchased. This addition is a bit odd, since they offer no further explanation it makes it seem as if this is a common billing issue.

There really isn’t much information about this companies practices which doesn’t make sense seeing as how they have been around since 2024.

How (and) does it work?

There are amino acids added in order to increase energy, protect muscle and also help increase metabolism. Thermogenic effects are felt thru the addition of stimulants such as caffeine, guarana and green tea. Finally vitamins and minerals are included in order to give the body adequate nutrition to handle optimal fat burning.

Strangely the amino acids offered tend to be in sufficient amounts in healthy people. Also the increase of stimulants are from natural sources however they can be found for much cheaper in their natural state.

Unbiased studies and customer opinions are not offered currently.

What’s inside of it and are there side effects?

Many stimulants are added which are meant to be taken in moderation and not after 3pm. Less limiting options do exist to satisfy your demands.

  • Guarana: Berry sourced from tropical regions. It has caffeine like properties.
  • Caffeine Anhydrous: Caffeine stripped of water.
  • Green Tea(4:1 extract): This tea is known to be the highest antioxidant containing tea of its kind.
  • Capsicum: Extract that gives chilis their spicy sensation. It is intended to increase body temperature which in turn decreases calories.
  • Raspberry Ketones: Extracted from berries and added in order to reduce fat absorption.
  • L-Tyrosine: Amino acid meant to improve mental function thru an increase in chemical passageways. Often added due to its reported fat loss properties when combined with stimulants.
  • L-Carnitine: Found in food and created in the body, intended to burn fat but only useful if body is deficient in this.
  • Korean Ginseng Root: This Asian variation of Ginseng is said to decrease blood sugar and improve mental function.
  • Allura Red E129: Red food dye. This variant is banned in France, Denmark, Switzerland and Belgium.

Potential Side Effects: Dehydration, insomnia, headache, muscle cramps, tremors, difficulty concentrating, restlessness, frequent urination, hyperactivity, mood swings, mania, rapid heart rate and panic attacks.

What’s good about it?

They have facilities in the US and UK that ship across the globe as well as a 30 day money back guarantee. Also offered is free shipping when purchasing over one bottle. Ingredient list is fully explained as well.

What’s bad about it?

pills_on_spoonThis company mentions a lot of positives however there are unanswered questions that must be addressed.

Due to the lack of information on this company and their 2024 start time,it surprises to see very little information. On their official site they spend very little time reassuring potential customers as to their reliability. Instead a notice is left mentioning if you see their name on your bank statement that someone purchased their products. Why the company focuses on this but lacks any real information about themselves is troubling.

Stimulants are also a noted issue. The introduction of ginseng, green tea, caffeine, and guarana are ingredients when combined may cause complications. Side effects may emerge when overindulging and the manufacturers warn to limit additional caffeine consumption as well as not taking this product after 3pm. This exact time is not explained. What type of sleep schedule does a person need to plan for exactly?

Proudly stated on the front website is a clear big font declaration that this product is for “everyone”. Then in the FAQ section they add no one under 18, pregnant or with a body mass index of 18.5 or less should supplement. This needs to be more prominent as people may take this product thinking it is for them when restrictions apply.

Another contradiction is when purchasing in larger amounts they declare how much weight loss can be expected. When you read further they mention results vary greatly.  Multiple times this happens on their own site with  sections promising different things than what their louder banners and big font declarations offer.

Wrap Up

This product has a lot of promises that are refuted by their own website. At times they even declare just right underneath their claims the actual limited results. It’s nice to see they’re quickly honest but why do they play games like this?

Since most of the ingredients are either readily available in food thru cheaper means, it also calls to wonder why this is necessary.

Several stimulants added may not be the preferred choice. Especially considering they mention not to take this after 3pm without adding exactly how they came to this exact number. It makes it seem as if they know side effects are possible but they fail to mention them.

Bottom Line:

It’s not often a company will make claims then quickly refute them. Real wholesome supplement companies that stick to what they claim currently offer great products.

Also beneficial are products that don’t rely on stimulants in order to achieve results. Greater and more sustained opportunities for weight loss are easy to access.

  1. Marc says:

Their website states they have a 100% money back guarantee, but beware!!! These diet pills DO NOT work. Once you buy them, you own them because they will not refund your money as they advertise. Don’t waste your money.
