Claiming to be “The world’s #1 appetite suppressant and weight loss pill” Phentabz confidently take center stage of the diet pill world, or so they think. Phentabz claim to be the new replacement for phentermine that provides energy and a suppressed appetite to those who try it out.
So is this really the best diet pill the world has to offer? Or is this just a bold claim made to get people excited into believing this product is the real deal? We decided to look into Phentabz and see what is real and what isn’t.
This can be a bit confusing, as there are review sites that have Phentabz manufacturer being a company called Gentech. However if one goes to the official Phentabz website, another company named Lexium International is listed, which has it’s headquarters in Fort Myers, Florida. It turns out that both companies are one in the same. According to their website, Lexium produces various pharmaceuticals in the realms of weight loss/obesity, diabetes, anti-aging, stress relief and mental performance. Phentabz can be purchased on it’s official website as well as third party retailers such as Vitacost.com.
Phentabz claim to act with two essential functions: to accelerate the rate at which fat is mobilized and to suppress appetite. Phentabz also claim that it is designed to boost the metabolism, raise energy levels, have people losing weight on a daily basis, and have people lose body fat, avoiding water retention. To get the desired results, users are instructed to take one tablet a half hour before breakfast on an empty stomach, then again a half hour before lunch. It is recommended not to take this product too late in the day, as it may cause sleeplessness.
Despite the positive testimonials provided on the company’s website, we could find only one positive review. Any other reviews are not available.
The official website has a section in the FAQ that asks about what the ingredients are in Phentabz. All the company will reveal is that the ingredients are the most advanced formulas on the market to help suppress appetite and help people lose weight. At no time is any one ingredient revealed. Phentabz claim that their product is not herbal, but that it is made in a laboratory to ensure it’s effectiveness.
A reason companies might not reveal their proprietary blends is because they may claim that they don’t want it stolen by competitors. While this may be true, that then means that you, the consumer, need to not only give them your money, but your trust as well. And who are they exactly when you find out about them, but a webpage on the internet?
Phentabz claims that the only side effects from use of their product are weight loss and boosted energy levels. It mentions that adverse effects shouldn’t happen, but if they do, it would include insomnia and dry mouth. There are no independent sources to verify this claim. Despite this, some users have reported chest pains and anxiety as well.
A few reviewers have claimed that this product has worked for them, which goes to show that everyone has different body chemistry that reacts differently to dietary supplements.
At no point does Phentabz list what any of their ingredients are. The company expects it’s users to just trust them and the claims they make. But how can you make an informed decision about the products you are going to consume when you don’t even know what goes in them?
While the official website mentions that there are only mild adverse effects, some users have reported chest pains and feeling on edge. There have also been reports that Phentabz did not suppress appetite for some users, while others saw no change in weight loss at all.
While making some pretty confident claims about itself, the fact of the matter is that there are no scientific studies available on the official website that have been done on this product to verify anything that it said is true. Much like the ingredient list, we are just expected to follow along and buy the product.
If anything, this product tries to act as a replacement for phentermine. This product offers no real evidence to show that it is effective in helping people lose weight.
Bottom Line:
With the use of smiling women and men in white lab coats, Phentabz tries to make itself look more legitimate than it really is. With no ingredients listed as well as a lack of scientific studies on the product, its hard to say whether this will really work as claimed. There are better, cheaper diet pills on the market that are much more open about these kinds of things. As it stands there’s no reason to give money to a company that wants to hold secrets from you. Ignore this product and look for something else.
