Penatropin is a male enhancement product that is formulated to help men improve the size of their penises and their overall functionality. Their label calls it a three-phase vasodynamic size amplifier that is capable of permanently adding both length and girth to their users’ penises.
Other benefits that they say that their users may experience include increased stamina levels, more pleasurable orgasms, and an increase in sexual satisfaction for both the user and their partners. Their promotional materials claim that it is so successful because it can help men to increase their circulation levels, their testosterone production, and overall sexual health and wellness.
The supplement that has shown the most potential for helping men to increase their sexual performance levels is Viritenz. It has an all-natural formula that uses some of the most potent ingredients that are available to men without needing to first acquire a prescription. Penatropin has a very short list of ingredients. They only have two main active agents in their proprietary blend:
Butea Superba | L-Carnitine |
Butea Superba: A tuber vegetable found growing most frequently in Thailand and southeastern Asia that some claim to have aphrodisiac effects. There is very little data, however, that backs these claims up, and the study that is cited by Penatropin displays some serious methodological issues.
Butea superba does not have an extensive safety history either, and it is not known if it can cause side effects or if it is linked to any long-term health risks. It is not an ingredient that our panel of experts tend to recommend to our readers.
L-Carnitine: An amino acid that has shown some use as a metabolism booster and nootropic aid that may also have some applications for erectile health. L-Carnitine can increase the nitric oxide levels in the blood, which improves overall blood flow and have a pro-erectile effect in men.
In regards to Penatropin’s main claims about their product, there seems to be very little reason for men to believe that it is actually capable of increasing penis size. Neither of the ingredients that they use has ever been associated with anything like permanent changes to the length or girth of the penis.
It is possible that L-Carnitine may have some pro-erectile effects similar to those that are seen in L-Arginine products, however it is not generally thought to be as potent. Butea superba, however, needs to demonstrate more conclusively that it is safe and that it can consistently help men achieve more potent erections before our team is willing to recommend it to our readers.
Even if both of these ingredients were highly potent, Penatropin would still be using a very limited blend. They do not seem to supply much actual testosterone support, and their circulatory effects seem to only related to vasodilation rather than stimulation. As such, it seems unlikely that Penatropin would be able to be as effective as the majority of reputable male enhancement products.

Penatropin used to be more widely available, however it seems that the majority of retailers that used to carry them have ceased their relationship with the company. Currently, the only place that interested customers can still purchase Penatropin is through their own home page. The prices that are being quoted on their website are as follows:
These prices are in line with the average costs for most male enhancement products. Our team expected the product to be somewhat less expensive, given their minimal ingredients list, however they do not seem to have discounted their product simply because it takes less material to produce.
The label of Penatropin lists their manufacturer as Pytho Health USA, however our team could find no relevant online data related to that company name or any other products of theirs, and for the most part the organization seems to operate under the Penatropin name. The contact information that Penatropin provides on their website is as follows:
Phone Number: (800) 780-5411
Address: Penatropin does not provide a physical address for their business offices.
Email: Penatropin also does not provide an email address for their business, however they do have an electronic contact form that can be used for those purposes.
Penatropin’s website says that it is the product of Dr. Wichai Cherdshewasart, who they claim was recently named Ethnopharmacologist of the Year. They do not, however, claim who was awarding this prize, and our team could not find any evidence to verify this.
There are some very negative accusations regarding Penatropin that are posted online, including one posting found on Ripoff Report that claimed that the user had the pills privately analyzed and that they did not contain what they list in their pills. The poster, who, it should be noted, is anonymous and was posting on an open-source website open to anyone, said that independent analysis of Penatropin showed that it contained baking soda, sugar, and small amounts of useless herbs.
If this is true then there is no way that Penatropin would be able to have a positive impact on men’s sexual health. There are some signs that lead our reviewers to wonder about the validity of these claims, however our team felt that this information was relevant to people that were considering purchasing Penatropin.
The independent reviews of Penatropin found online do not give our research team much confidence that it will be able to be effective for most users. There are critical accounts of customer experiences with Penatropin posted on a wide variety of websites, including on Amazon.com, one of their former retailers.
Customers who purchased Penatropin through Amazon gave it overwhelmingly bad scores, with well over half of the respondents giving the supplement one star out of five, the lowest possible score on the site. The specific comments that past users posted included these quotations about their experiences:
“If these did nothing, I think that would have been an improvement. I don’t know how it’s possible, but I think it made my penis smaller.”
“I didn’t see any growth, but it did make my penis feel itchy inside. My partners all told me to stop taking it and that I was wasting my money.”
“This product is terrible. I took it for a few weeks, but I started getting headaches every day and really bad gas. I had to stop taking it because the headaches just got too unbearable – never saw any size increases though. Waste of my hard-earned money.”
Interested customers should note that just as growing penile tissue through herbal supplementation is an anatomical impossibility, it is also not possible that herbal supplements can reduce users’ penile tissue. The fact that someone would claim this, however, does not bode well for Penatropin’s ability to increase their users’ size either.
Conclusion – Does Penatropin Work?
Penatropin has one of the shortest ingredients lists of any male enhancement product on the market today. It uses only one moderately effective ingredient and one ingredient that has not adequately demonstrated that it can be effective at all.
This is not a combination that compares favorably to the leading male enhancement products, most of which tend to use a diverse blend of ingredients that have a variety of effects, such as increasing both testosterone production and testosterone processing as well as circulatory rate and circulatory volume. Our team does not believe that Penatropin will be the most effective male enhancement product on the market for the vast majority of men.
The supplement that they do believe has the best chance of benefitting the largest amount of men is Viritenz. It uses a much longer list of ingredients, the vast majority of which are thought to be more effective for male enhancement than either butea superba or L-Carnitine.
They use L-Arginine and tongkat ali as two of the primary ingredients in their blend, as well as the maca root, tribulus terrestris, and a variety of other potent nutrients. Click on this link to read the full ingredients list for Viritenz.
