Just searching up this product in the first place may confuse people, as Adipessum claims to be a product from China that strangely enough has a Facebook page that’s all in Spanish. The product claims that it is all natural and that it is an aid in eliminating appetite, roasting fat off the body and heightening energy levels.
There is not much else that is known about this product past this basic description. The product seems to rely on the fact that it has some roots in China as it’s main selling point. So is Adipessum the real deal, or is it something similar to a hoax? In the following article we break it down.

Adipessum declares that it may be used to suppress appetite, gives the user a burst of energy as well as annihilating superfluous fat. But past these statements, there is no real mention as to how the product goes about achieves this. All that is mentioned is to take one capsule before breakfast and to not take more than two a day.

The company that manufactured this product does not provide any ingredient list. However with some research, we were able to find out that there are 8 different ingredients in this product. While they may be natural ingredients, none are specifically known to have a positive effect on weight loss.
Ingredients:
- Lotus leaf: A plant whose extract may block fat from being absorbed into the body. Because of this belief, it is beloved for use in weight management, regardless if it actually works or not.
- Oriental water plantain rhizome: A subterranean root that has been used to countermeasure urinary and bladder disorders.
- Cyamoposis gum: Also known as guar gum, this fibre may be dangerous if consumed without water, as it may expand in the throat and block air passages.
- Artichoke: Jam packed with B vitamins, this low calorie ingredient is also filled to the brim with antioxidants as well.
- Atractylodes rhizome: Traditionally used in China as medicine, this has been used as a remedy for diarrhea, abdominal distress, joint pain and bloating.
- Alfalfa: Ascertained to cut back on cholesterol levels, as well as remedy prostate and kidney disorders.
- Kola nut: Having it’s origins on the continent of Africa, this is known to react with the body as a stimulant.
- Astragalus root extract: Containing antioxidants that battle against the negative effects of free radicals, this is also believed to help support heart health.

Any information pertaining to this product is mainly in Spanish, so if potential buyers aren’t familiar with the language, the invisible barrier will be enough to turn people away from this product.
This concoction is also not for everyone, as individuals who suffer from glaucoma, heart disorders, mental illness, hyperthyroidism and women who are nursing or pregnant are restricted against it’s use. In this sense the product is more than a little limiting on who may be able to use it.

Not having it’s own website makes this product feel very shady. With only scant product descriptions about itself, the makers have made it easier to distrust this product than to trust it.

Frankly, it’s products such as this that give a bad name to the diet pill world. Products like this one that lack a website, evidence to support that it works, and being in another language entirely are all signs of a horrible product. Superior weight management products are the antithesis of this. Just because a product can make claims, that doesn’t always make it so. As much as this product tries to be something, the end result is that it is really no better than being just an image on a computer screen.
