Customer Health Rating:

Calotren, does it actually work?

What is Calotren?

Hitting online markets as an all natural metabolism supplement, Calotren claims to let it’s users lose pounds, while at the same time helping with joint pains and sleep.  Coming in either liquid or capsule form, Calotren lets its user continue to eat the foods they love, although the company’s website does mention that diet and exercise are important to see optimal results.

Who makes it?

Calotren is manufactured by the Tennessee based Top of the World Distributors. Although producing Calotren since 2001, Top of the World Distributors also makes a variety of other health and wellness products. Calotren can be purchased on the company’s website, or on other major online retailers such as Amazon.com

How (and) does it work?

Calotren contains a protein known as collagen. Collagen is necessary for healthy lean muscle, which in turn burn sugar and fats more effectively than if not taken at all. In addition to weight loss, Calotren boasts that it can also help with joint pain and help it’s users have a better night sleep.

Though there are those with positive results, not everyone who tried this product found Calotren helpful in their weight loss efforts.

What’s inside of it and are there side effects?

Calotren is made up of all natural ingredients products that help with weight loss. Although all natural, the effectiveness of these ingredients aren’t verified. If you are interested in finding an effective diet pill that’s derived from natural ingredients, please read the top 10 list.

Ingredients:

Liquid:

  • Oxygenated water: Water with extra oxygen added
  • Collagen hydrolysate: An ingredient used to help burn fats and sugars at a faster than usual rate.
  • Aloe Vera: Used to treat maladies for centuries, this is also used to help with weight loss, although evidence of this is questionable.
  • Glycerin: An ingredient commonly used in laxatives.
  • Potassium sorbate: Usually used as a food preservative, it’s uses towards weight loss aren’t clear.
  • Natural raspberry flavoring: Used for flavoring.
  • Methylparaben: Usually used in cosmetic products as an anti-fungal agent.

Capsule:

  • Collagen Hydrolysate: An ingredient not only known to help with joint pain, but to help with collagen production.
  • Aloe Vera: Used to treat maladies for centuries, this is also used to help with weight loss, although evidence of this is questionable.
  • Vegetable glycerin: An ingredient commonly used in laxatives.

Side Effects: Upset stomach, gas, cramps, nausea and diarrhea.

What is good about it?

The company promotes many specials for it’s products. Calotren is also FDA approved.

What is bad about it?

Despite all the claims it makes about being something of a weight loss “miracle”, there is no one thing about Calotren that makes it stand out as exemplary. None of the ingredients really stand out as anything particularly important in weight loss, such as orlistat or green tea extract can claim to be. What it does more than anything is hide behind other ingredients like Aloe Vera, which can help other maladies, but not necessarily weight loss.

To bring this all together, there are no clinical studies given that anything that Calotren claims to do actually works. In the end they expect us, the consumer, to just go along and accept whatever it is that they have to say.

Wrap Up

While making big claims in it’s effectiveness, Calotren doesn’t come off as good as it claims to be, instead hiding behind mediocre ingredients that don’t really help in weight loss all that much.

Bottom Line:

If you are looking for an elixir of a product that can help with weight loss, as well as other maladies such as joint pain or insomnia, this may seem to be the product you are looking for. But behind promises are not truth but vacancies, vacancies in clinical studies, vacancies effectiveness of the product, vacancies in honesty. There are plenty of other products out there that are not like this that can be found for the same price, if not cheaper, and that are actually effective. Don’t fall for the bright colors and softly shaped text that the company’s website uses as a friendly allure to lure in it’s potential buyers. Simply click the URL and type the name of a better product. And when you press Enter, have no regrets over what you are leaving behind.

We strongly recommend looking into other diet pills that may be better and more effective for you.
