Slim Trim review: Is It Safe?

What is Slim Trim?

Slim trim is advertised as a dietary supplement meant to enhance weight loss, but only to those with a regimented healthy diet and exercise plan. The company website features no listing of ingredients or descriptions on how their supplements work.

Their website proclaims the Slim Trim supplement can curb appetite, burn fat and help in losing weight however no studies are shown and no testimonials are given.

Who makes it?

yellow-and-red-pillsThis company has no details of their company origin and they claim to have other supplements but only feature one bottle of 30 or 60 count. Their distribution is limited, attainable either thru Amazon or on their official website.

How (and) does it work?

Combining calorie restriction and a minimum half hour of daily exercise in combination with these supplements is key. The ingredient list is only listed on their third party seller Amazon though there is no indication of how it works. Within the site they recommend one must strictly watch what one eats and keep exercise at a minimum 30 minutes a day.

Only five reviews exist online; the sole positive reviews claiming that the product has little effect when combined with exercise and diet.

What’s inside of it and are there side effects?

There is no actual description of what their ingredients do and how they are sourced, only vague one word descriptions of fat loss, appetite curbing and metabolism increase. One of the main ingredients is chromium, which one full serving has 167% of the daily value fit for human consumption. In excess doses chromium is known to cause stomach issues and low blood sugar.    There are other diet pills with more natural ingredients on this top 10 list.

Ingredients:
  • Chromium: A metal meant to control blood sugar levels. This essential trace element is meant to promote proper human health in small doses.
  • Green Tea Extract: Sourced from a plant, this ingredient has been shown to aid mental alertness and promote proper digestion. It’s used as a weight loss tool though evidence has shown little to no result.
  • Cayenne Pepper: An herb sourced from a spicy chili pepper that is responsible for increasing circulation and suppressing appetite.
  • Green Coffee Bean Extract: Unroasted coffee beans.
  • Caffeine (anhydrous caffeine and guarana seed): Dehydrated caffeine and guarana seeds from an African tree. Both meant to stimulate a higher metabolism.
  • Garcinia Cambogia Extract: A plant shown in animals to prevent fat storage and suppress appetite, but no studies on humans has been shown.
  • White Mulberry Extract: An herb native to China which is fed to silkworms. Meant to lower blood sugar specifically to those with diabetes.
  • Raspberry Ketones: Chemical sourced from red raspberries, a relatively new supplement with limited study.
  • Saffron Extract: One of the world’s most expensive spices, this plant has been known to alleviate throat issues, depression, intestinal gas and several other afflictions.

Potential Side Effects: Anxiety, low blood pressure, liver disease, kidney disease, depression, hyperactivity, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, chest pain and a worsening of psychological issues.

What’s good about it?

Amazon has a 60 capsule bottle for $12.99.

What’s bad about it?

Slim trim’s website contains no evidence or even any customer opinions supporting their claims. There is no company website or any indication of how exactly the ingredients they have listed work.

Also with several different sources of caffeine and no statement of how much is included, you have no idea how much of a stimulant effect this product will have.

The website is lacking in any real information and there is no evidence to its effectiveness. The only known seven users on Amazon have said even with diet and exercise this supplement had either no results or mediocre results.

The fact that the company seems illusive is odd and highlights the fact that they are either not proud or unwilling to disclose any real facts to back up their claims of fat loss.

Their social media pages have links after links of calorie restriction tips and recipes without mentioning how their products can contribute to weight loss.

Wrap Up

After careful research of their ingredient list it’s clear that it would be risky to take these ingredients in pill form without knowing where they are sourced, their purity, and how they work within the human body. The company does not put any effort in trying to show how they operate. Their concern lies more on making sure people know recipes instead of real fat loss evidence.

Bottom Line:

If all you have are one word snippets and no information of how the science works, what’s inside this pill and no opinions from customers, why would anyone trust this pill? There are effective products existing now with real testimonials and evidence.

It’s dangerous to take anything without knowing how it works, make a safe choice and care for yourself by looking elsewhere.

Respect your body and make the choice that’s right for you, there are safe and real options better suited for your well being.
