Plexus Slim Review: Does This Product Really Work?

What is Plexus Slim?

Plexus Slim offers women a weight loss powder meant to be mixed in water which is said to provide results in 2 weeks time. By taking this product once or even twice a day for those struggling with obesity, they claim results will emerge.

Also mentioned is the introduction of “moderate” exercise and dieting in order to actually see results. The product is catered towards women as it shows a slim stomach on their products package.

Does Plexus Slim live up to the hype? Let’s see what it can do.

Who makes it?

Bottle with falling out pillsBased out of Arizona, Plexus Worldwide, Inc has a unique multi marketing program. Essentially they let anybody sell their products as long as they subscribe and pay fees, they in turn sell the many brands offered and they get a commision off each sale.

In 2024 the FDA issues a warning letter due to 3 of their products making grand claims that were considered untrue. Exaggerated claims were made that it could cure certain afflictions, the FDA demanded immediate removal of these statements.

On the Better Business Bureau website they have 17 negative reviews from customers claiming there is no customer support and auto billing is an issue. Customers have been charged monthly for products they either no longer want or have tried continuously to close down.

How (and) does it work?

With the addition of ingredients like green coffee bean a thermogenic effect is reached which in turns allows for the body to burn fat and become less hungry.

Chlorogenic Acid is added to reduce blood sugar levels and lower cholesterol. All together the product is meant to reduce appetite which in turn leads to less calories taken in.

It’s common for companies that do multi marketing to have many of the sellers leave good reviews in order to ramp up demand. Luckily a unbiased review site has a rating scale between 1 to 5 stars. Currently this product has 92 1 star reviews and 106 2 star reviews. Customers often complain that the product tastes awful and that results aren’t noticeable.

What’s inside of it and are there side effects?

The product contains a blend of unknown quantities of Garcinia Cambogia and Green Coffee beans, this does not allow customers the right to learn of the strength of each. Products containing Garcinia in individual amounts are readily available for your needs.

Ingredients:
  • Chromium( as chromium polynicotinate): Niacin rich form of chromium meant to stabilize an increase in blood sugar.
  • Green Coffee Bean Extract(chlorogenic acid and less than 2% caffeine): Unroasted coffee beans whose Chlorogenic Acids are meant to work like caffeine, it is meant to reduce carbohydrates.
  • Garcinia Cambogia Fruit Extract: This fruit is found in tropical regions and it is known to reduce weight.
  • Han-Guo Fruit Extract: A fruit found in parts of China and Thailand that is 300 times sweeter than sugar.
  • Polydextrose: Low calorie fiber sourced from sorbitol and glucose.
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid:Antioxidant meant to reduce carbohydrates.

Potential Side Effects: Rash, nausea, stomach pains, vomiting, hyperactivity, and irregular bowel movements.

What’s good about it?

Caffeine inside is minimal.

What’s bad about it?

medical pillsWhile this product makes grand claims it’s obvious why they left sales to be pursued by their so called ambassadors.

This product gets a lot of fanfare from people who are interested in turning a profit. Many of the blogs who support this product conveniently offer their own information so purchases can come from them.

Also the product fails to mention any evidence for their products use. No clinical trials are cited and no proof is left of their ingredients use. They claim their product does not interfere with medications or supplements however they also fail to provide evidence of this.

A one month supply of this product amounts to $84.95, a steep price considering there isn’t many active ingredients inside and most of it is sweeteners and agents meant to preserve and prevent clumping.

Also concerning is since most of the active ingredients are lumped together into a blend, it minimizes accurate dosing by customers. People who may have sensitivities to green coffee bean won’t know how much exactly is inside.

Wrap Up

Featured on the website is a giant declaration of making their distributors extra cash. What they fail to mention is how exactly their products can benefit customers thru actual studies. They also fail to provide a reasonable price when you consider the ingredients inside are much cheaper elsewhere. When you factor in this product is heavily marketed towards women by adding a pink hue,it becomes clear more money was spent on marketing than anything else.

Bottom Line:

While this product does mention a full list of positives, they fail to provide real evidence. Products that are all natural exist which can give you a breakdown of how they actually work.

Instead of not allowing yourself the right to know a full ingredient breakdown, make the alternative switch. Fully disclosed ingredient strengths and comprehensive results are readily available for you.
